New Year’s Special: Let Go of What No Longer Serves You

A New Year’s Eve Yoga + Reflection Ritual

As the year comes to a close, this 90-minute Yoga + Reflection class in Playa Sámara offers a different way to cross into the new year.

Rather than setting resolutions or striving to become someone new, we’ll create space by gently releasing what no longer serves us – physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Rooted in Yoga philosophy, we’ll explore the practice of Aparigraha (non-attachment) through:

  • guided end-of-year reflection
  • intuitive writing and journaling
  • a simple letting-go ritual
  • a slow, grounding, Yin-inspired yoga practice
  • and a closing meditation to rest in what remains

This class is less about doing, more about unburdening.
It is a ritual of closure, not resolution-setting.
It is rooted in Yoga philosophy, not productivity culture.

🤍 If the cost of this class is a barrier, please reach out. Sliding scale options and a limited number of free spots are available — no explanation needed.

No prior experience with journaling or Yin Yoga is needed.
Come as you are, leave with a little more space.

Depending on how much time we have together I will dive deeper into some spiritual insights and let you rest longer or shorter in your poses. Hi, I'm Lisa! Welcome to Lunita Yoga!

Join me for Yoga practice in Playa Sámara and Playa Carrillo in beautiful Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
All my classes are rooted in Vinyasa Yoga and aim to strengthen your body, calm your mind, and find your inner balance.

Surfer’s Yoga in PLaya Samara

Surfing is so much more than its athletic aspect – just like Yoga. Both practices require you to be fully present and committed, constantly stretching out of your comfort zone while balancing the ebb and flow of challenge and ease.

Which is why Surfing and Yoga is the perfect combination!

Three mornings a week I meet you at Tico’s Surf School in Playa Sámara for a surf-inspired yoga session from 7 to 8 AM. Non-surfers just as welcome though, this practice is beneficial for everybody!

Morning Yoga in Playa Carrillo

Soak in the beautfiul view over the bay of Carrillo, do a wave check during your Warrior II or simply enjoy the light breeze on your skin while we practice being present in a balance posture.

Monday and Friday mornings at 6:30 AM we meet at the Mirador de Carrillo for a 60 minute Vinyasa-inspired morning flow!

“¡Amo tomar clases de Yoga con Lisa! Explica todo con mucha claridad, lo que hace que sea fácil de seguir. Sus clases son desafiantes en el mejor sentido, sales sintiendo que realmente tuviste un excelente entrenamiento. También valoro mucho lo atenta que es con la postura y la forma, siempre asegurándose de que hagas los movimientos de manera segura y correcta. ¡Una profesora de yoga increíble!”
